Susan L Flesher MD, MD

Susan Flesher, MD is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine. Dr. Flesher has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from West Virginia University and a Master of Science in Nursing from Bellarmine College in Louisville, KY. She received her medical degree from Marshall University School of Medicine. Dr. Flesher completed her Pediatric residency and Chief residency at Marshall University in 2010. She currently serves as Pediatric Hospitalist in Cabell Huntington Hospital and also sees patients in the outpatient setting at our main office. Medical education is a priority for Dr. Flesher, as shown by her appointment as Program Director for the Pediatric residency program since July 2011. Her clinical and research interests focus on quality improvement and hospital medicine. She has been published in both nursing & medical literature in the field of quality improvement.
