    About

    Dr. Leesa Prunty received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from West Virginia University in 2011 and went on to complete an ASHP Accredited PGY-1 Residency at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Huntington, West Virginia. She has lectured on many topics to interdisciplinary teams including pharmacists, pharmacy students, physicians, nurses, and social workers. She has also presented original research at regional and national pharmacy conferences.
     
    Dr. Prunty joined Marshall University School of Pharmacy in 2013 as an Assistant Clinical Professor. Her practice site is located at Cabell Huntington Hospital in Huntington, WV where she provides clinical pharmacy services in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. Her areas of interest include pediatric medication safety and childhood obesity.
     
    Dr. Prunty is a Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist. She is also certified in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support.
