    About

    Marty Amerikaner is a professor and former chairman of the psychology department at Marshall University. Dr. Amerikaner received his doctoral degree in Psychology from the University of Florida in 1978. He has provided psychological and counseling services to adolescents, adults and couples for over 30 years. Dr. Amerikaner also is a past president of the state psychological association and former chairman of the state Board of Examiners of Psychologists.
    Dr. Amerikaner's research interest is Psychotherapy Processes. His teaching interests are Therapy Interviewing, Clinical Supervision, Ethics, and Practicum Supervision
