About
Dr. Melvin is the chief attending psychiatrist for the consultation service at Cabell Huntington Hospital. He is also the attending psychiatrist for the Cabell Huntington Hospital Recovery Center and for the newly created transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) clinic located in the Marshall Psychiatry outpatient clinic. His special interests are treatment of mood disorders, thought disorders, and addiction. He also has a strong interest in the use of neuromodulation therapies including TMS and electroconvulsive therapy (ECT).
